Outer Cape Winds, a vibrant new wind ensemble, welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities to share in the magic of making music together. Whether you’re a seasoned player or have just begun your musical journey, join us as we create harmonious melodies and forge lasting friendships. Repertoire will include classic wind ensemble music, marches, Broadway tunes, and more.
Weekly Rehearsals:
Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.
Thursdays, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Walk ins welcome; No Audition required; Please bring your own instrument.

Gloriæ Dei Cantores Auditions for Handel’s Messiah Christmas Portion
Saturday, October 14, 12-3 PM
Gloriae Dei Cantores is holding auditions for the Christmas portion of Messiah to be sung December 15,16 & 17.
Auditions will be held on Saturday October 14 at the Performing Arts Center in Brewster (95 Southern Eagle Cartway) from 12-3 PM, with rehearsals beginning on Tuesday evening, October 17, from 7-9 PM
If you would like to audition, please prepare a solo of any type, as well as the Christmas portion chorus parts appropriate to your voice. An accompanist will be provided for you.

Arts & Entertainment Lecture: Historical Trumpet Demonstration & Recital on Baroque Trumpet
Saturday, Nov. 18, 3:30 p.m.
Presented by Jared Wallis, DMA
This event will feature performances of numerous works written for the natural trumpet and explore the use of this majestic instrument throughout history. Spanning the earliest known sounds to some of the most impressive solo works of the high baroque era, attendees will learn about the function and fashion behind the trumpet from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century and get a glimpse into the lives and careers of trumpeters in ages past. This lecture will be presented by Dr. Jared Wallis, Assistant Professor of Baroque Trumpet at the Eastman School of Music, with years of performance experience and enthusiastic study of early music and period instruments. No tickets required.
